Parish Providers

Church members stand ready to prepare and deliver a meal to households undergoing major transitions—the birth of a child, a serious illness, or death.

To better serve parishioners and enhance the quality of care to members, the Pastoral Care Ministry, collaborates with the Episcopal Church Women (ECW) at SMAA which coordinates the Parish Providers Committee.

Church members are invited to sign-up with the Parish Providers Committee for a one-month period to provide a particular area of service as needed within the month. Service areas thus far identified are cooking and delivering meals, transport to appointments and church, grocery shopping, sit-in visits, and telephone calls.
