Saint Michael and All Angels (SMAA) Church and Community Service Scholarship Program
Saint Michael and All Angels (SMAA) announces the 2025 Church and Community Service Scholarship drive. This scholarship program is aimed at high school students enthusiastic about Church, volunteering, and community service. The SMAA Scholarship Program seeks to provide financial, communal, and spiritual support to members of the SMAA and Stone Mountain community who seek to further their educational goals.
The scholarship is open to current high school seniors. SMAA will award $1,000 each directly to three winners.
We are committed to investing in young people and believe that volunteerism has enormous potential to initiate change, and that students and all young people will play a vital role in shaping our community and the world’s future. By engaging in the church and through community volunteering, students can help build a more generous and caring community and society. Through our Church and Community
Service Scholarship, SMAA hopes to encourage students to engage in volunteer activities, to turn passion into action, and invite students to work for the issues they believe in.
To apply, students must complete the scholarship award application form, answer 2 of the 5 questions, and return the application by the due date. Responses should focus on church or community activities or reflect on a volunteer experience that they had with a specific organization.

The application process opens on March 17, and applications are due by April 14,2025. The committee will announce awardees on May 5, 2025.
